Feel the History

Edd Roush
Indiana's Forgotten Hall of Famer

Edd Roush, beginning his baseball career in the Tri-State area, was a member of the Cincinnati Reds & helped bring them to victory in the infamous and scandalized World Championship series of 1919.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1962, Roush first grew to fame in Cincinnati, leading the National League in batting in 1917, finishing second in 1918, and winning again in 1919. Roush eventually became the highest paid baseball player between 1927 & 1929 with the New York Giants, only to retire in 1931.
