TED Talks @ the Library: The Brain

Wednesday, February 27, 2013
6:30pm - 7:30pm
North Park - Meeting Room

Do you believe in the power of ideas? TED is a nonprofit devoted to "Ideas Worth Spreading." It started as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. TED believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. They have built a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers. Join us each month as we curious souls gather to engage with ideas and each other.

In February, the talks will cover ideas from brain science, featuring speakers such as Jill Bolte Taylor and V S Ramachandran.
