Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library
- Browning Genealogical Database: Summarizes information from obituaries in Evansville newspapers on people from Vanderburgh County and surrounding southwestern Indiana from early 1900's to present. Data on each deceased person usually includes age, date of death, survivors, funeral information, cemetery, occupation, and activities.
- Local History Database: Includes newspaper clippings from the Evansville Press archives; Charles Browning's People of Evansville in World War II (about 40,000 cards), and his People Study (about 537,000 cards), some Evansville high school yearbook pictures, and indexes current articles from the Evansville Courier Press.
- Evansville Electronic Books Database: full text of public domain books from the Indiana Collection about Evansville and Vanderburgh County.
- Evansville Courier Press Newspaper: archive of locally copyrighted material from 6/19/1991 to current issue. (You need a current EVPL Borrowers Card to access this licensed database)
