Text Message Notification

EVPL patrons can now receive Library Notices as Text Messages on cell phones and mobile devices. To sign up for this service, follow these steps:

1. Visit the My Account section and log into your account.
2. Click the "Modify Personal Info" button.
3. Select "Email" as the method of receiving notices.
4. In the "Email" text box, type your cell phone number followed by @evpl.v4lib.com (for example... 8125555555@evpl.v4lib.com).
5. Click the "Submit" link.

Use the same steps if your phone number changes.

After submitting your cell phone number, you will begin receiving the following library notices by text message:

• items you requested are ready for pickup
• items you've borrowed are due to be returned (2-day courtesy notice)
• items you've borrowed are overdue

Your phone number will be used for library purposes only.

NOTE: While there is no charge from the library for this service, you may see a charge for incoming text messages at the standard rate applied by your cell phone carrier, depending on your plan or package.
