Homebound Library Services
Who can apply?
To qualify for this service, the customer must be homebound, the caregiver of a homebound person, reside in a nursing home, residential care facility, or assisted living facility. This includes short or long term illness, physical challenges and slight to moderate visual impairment.
How to apply?
If you wish to apply for Homebound Service please complete the Homebound Library application form and return by mail, email or telephone Homebound Services staff directly at (812) 428-8227.
Follow up procedure
Homebound Services staff will discuss his or her reading preferences and then try to find materials that fit the profile. The customer can also specify specific titles and authors. Customers will be contacted approximately 7 days before delivery date to assure that their preferences are up to date.
