Rules and Procedures for Use of Central Library Meeting Rooms

Who may use Library meeting rooms and small study rooms?
Priority is given to library-sponsored and co-sponsored activities. Availability for others is determined on a first-come, first-served basis and by the terms of a signed Meeting Room Agreement. Libraries open at 9:00am. Rooms are available during hours the buildings are open to the public.

Users who misrepresent an event or affiliation to avoid compliance with fees or other Library policies may have reservation privileges suspended and may incur additional fees or charges.

Prohibited uses and activities

• No alcohol, controlled substance, or tobacco use is permitted on Library property
• No one may sell, trade, or solicit on Library property
• No admission fees may be charged or collected.  Fees to cover instructional materials are allowed.
• No firearms, weapons, ammunition, fireworks, explosives, or candles
• No gambling or solicitation in any form
• Other prohibitions as outlined in the required Meeting Room Agreement

No reservation is final until the Library receives a signed Agreement, insurance certificate (if applicable) and deposit (if required).  Library may cancel reservation for cause at any time.
