Adults with a valid EVPL resident library card in good standing.
Where do I return it?
Return directly to a staff member at the Checkout Desk at Central Library, not a dropbox. Returning it to a dropbox or another location will result in a fee.
What if it gets damaged or I lose it?
Repair and/or replacement costs will be charged should anything happen to the Reader or the included components.
How long can I have it?
The checkout period is 3 weeks, with no renewals.
What if I don't return it by the due date?
The late fee is $1 a day ($5 maximum).
How do I add eBooks to the device?
eBooks are downloaded to the device over Wi-Fi.
I'm concerned about privacy. What happens to my info on the device once it's returned?
When a Reader is returned, the device is reset to factory defaults before being checked out again. This removes all eBooks, saved Wi-Fi networks, and passwords from the device.
