Favorite Teen Events - Gaming

One of the regular teen attendees at Gaming Power Hour (x2), Zach Payne (a.k.a. Oreo) coordinated the Library's first-ever Guitar Hero Tournament in July, 2007. Four divisions were filled to capacity (10 contestants per division) as the play-offs began. The audience munched popcorn and watched in awe as the contestants dueled each other with their guitars. Public Library Friends provided funds for the popcorn and prizes. (Yes, there were prizes!) Want another tournament? Volunteer your services to help coordinate one!
