Virtual Library

Probably the fastest growing part of EVPL are its virtual collections - collections which exist either online or in a digital form.

Online collections can be accessed from any computer or laptop with a high-speed Internet connection. This "library without walls" offers an expanding array of information resources to EVPL patrons, no matter where in the world they may be.

You'll be able to access digital books, magazines, videos, and podcasts. Included in these digital books is a growing number of titles in the EVPL digital catalog, which you'll be able to check out 24/7 from your home computer. You'll be able to subscribe (for free!) to a wide variety of eNewsletters about new and forthcoming books. You'll be able to subscribe to a wide variety RSS feeds from EVPL's program calendars and weblogs. You'll be able to read and comment on a variety of weblogs reviewing books, movies, and music. Finally, you'll be able to browse the library's catalog, which continues to expand its holdings to relevant web resources that can be accessed around the clock.
