Volunteer Opportunities: Teen Summer Reading Program Volunteer(s)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help Youth Services Librarians prepare for Youth Summer Reading Program.
- Greet children, sign them up for the program, encourage them in reading, distribute reading incentives and collect prize entries.
- Assist in keeping statistics, paperwork related to program.
- Help preparematerials for summer crafts and programs.
Volunteers keep track of their time, and letters reflecting volunteer service provided will be available at the end of the summer.
Applicants must adhere to Library’s Dress Guidelines (“Business Casual”) and dress suitably for the task at hand, and must maintain good personal hygiene in compliance with Library Code of Conduct.
