EVPL wants to find out! Throughout 2022, readers can help us by tracking their reading each month and then sharing with us the number of books they read. At the end of the year, EVPL will announce how many books our county has read.
Books and reading programs have been a part of EVPL’s history since it was founded over 100 years ago. We have offered a variety of reading programs with the majority of them being seasonal challenges – Our Summer, Fall into Reading, and more. Beginning in 2022, we will be offering our first year-long annual reading challenge. With monthly trackers that can be picked up at any EVPL location or printed from evpl.org, you can participate one month, a few months, or every month of the year!
With chances to win prizes each month, participants are encouraged to participate each month they can. To participate, you just need to read, track the titles you read throughout that month on your tracker, and then, drop off the bottom slip of your tracker to any EVPL location by the end of that month. Every EVPL location will have a monthly drawing for each age group! If you finish one tracker, you can pick up another one. You can also enter a tracker at multiple locations.
Books can be from any collection and can be audio or digital format. It all counts! Make sure you fill out your name, contact information, and how many books you read that month on the entry slip. Winners will be notified every month.
