Checking "Remember My Library Card Number" will store your library card number &
PIN on your computer.
On return visits, simply type in your name. Then press the "Tab" key, "Enter"
key, or click outside the name box to automatically retrieve your library card number
*NOTE: For security reasons, this feature should not be used on public computers.
It is intentionally disabled on in-library computers.
Text Message Notices
EVPL now offers the capability to send overdue, hold and courtesy notices to your cell phone via a text message. How do you get started?
Login to My Account and click "Modify Patron Information". Change the contents of your email field to be the MMS address of your cell phone. Set your notification method to "Email". Then click, "Submit".
Examples of MMS formats for major cell phone carriers are below. (You must enter all 10 digits of your cell phone number)
AT&T - email@example.comVERIZON - firstname.lastname@example.org
SPRINT - email@example.com
T-MOBILE - firstname.lastname@example.org
BOOST MOBILE - email@example.com
VIRGIN MOBILE - firstname.lastname@example.org
**Some carriers do not support MMS (multimedia messaging service). If in doubt, check your cell phone carrier's website. If you still want to receive email notices also, enter the mms address of your cell phone followed by a "," then your email address. For example: email@example.com,firstname.lastname@example.org.
