Ever wanted to take music lessons or brush up on your childhood playing skills? Now is your chance with ArtistWorks.

You just need a library card with the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library. ArtistWorks offers music lessons for guitar, piano, drums, trumpet, clarinet, cello, harmonica, and many more instruments. There are even voice lessons and scratching lessons. You can learn different playing styles, like rock guitar or blues. Lessons range from beginner to advanced.

But what if you don’t have an instrument? You can probably find used ones at different places around town, but the library can help you out here, too, after all even a used piano is a big investment. Instead, try borrowing the rollout Digital Keyboard from our Library of Things first. ArtistWorks even has ukulele lessons if you’re interested in our ukuleles.

You will find access to ArtistWorks through your Libby app, or in the list of databases from our Research Database page.

Don’t hesitate to stop in or give us a call at 812.428.8200 if you have any trouble getting into ArtistWorks or have any questions about using it.
