Get Catalog Info with Microsoft Tag
Items in the Classic Catalog feature Microsoft Tags, making it easy to take item info with you on your cellphone.
Using Tags
- Install the Microsoft Tag Reader app on your camera-enabled cellphone. Search your device's app store or point your device's web browser to http://gettag.mobi to download the app.
- Locate an item in the Classic Catalog. Using the Tag Reader app, scan the Tag off of your computer screen.
- The item will be displayed in the mobile catalog on your cellphone. Take this info with you to locate an item on the shelf or to ask assistance from library staff.
The Tag Reader app is available for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone smartphones, as well as any camera-enabled phone that can run Java applications.
