If you’re like many people, somewhere you have boxes full of old photos that you’d like to be able to scan and save for future reference, for relatives, to create a gift, or to be able to email or post on social media. Maybe you’d even like to be able to preserve those items so that you have an extra copy, should something happen to the originals.
The Preservation Studio is a free “do-it-yourself” space that allows you to archive and digitize personal mementos. EVPL provides tools and resources to digitize videos, films, audio recordings, photographs, and slides. Located on the second floor of EVPL Central, the Preservation Studio rooms are available by appointment only.
Room 1: Audio-Visual
