The Preservation Studio at EVPL

The Preservation Studio is a free “do-it-yourself” space for the local community to archive and digitize personal mementos. The library will provide the community with the tools and resources to digitize videos, audio recordings, photographs, and slides. Located in the Indiana Room on the second floor of EVPL Central, the Preservation Studio is open by appointment only.

You do not need to have a library card to use the Preservation Studio. You will need to complete an orientation program, sign a release form and fill out the form below at least 48 hours in advance. Please note all appointments are pending staff approval. Sessions are limited to one per day per user, but you are welcome to reserve multiple sessions on consecutive days. EVPL team members will be available to answer questions and troubleshoot during your session. You should arrive no sooner than 15 minutes before your session. You will need to provide your own storage media or be prepared to upload media to established personal cloud accounts.
