The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library Foundation
We are more than a building with books! Our libraries are true community centers, offering free public access to resources that inspire, educate, and entertain. In 2007, the Library recorded 1,542,531 visits from the community.

Tax revenues support he Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library's basic services -- staff, building and equipment maintenance, and core collections. What is often not covered are those programs, resources, and activities that help make the Library more than a "building with books." The Foundation’s support complements, but does not supplant, tax revenues for funding the EVPL’s operations.
Your support of the library through the Foundation helps the library to continue offering special programs to young and old alike: puppets, magicians, origami classes, Irish jigs, chats with Santa, and dozens of other free and inspiring programs for children.
