EVPL Red Bank is now closed to begin the work of constructing a new library for you! A temporary library location is planned to open nearby in early 2026.
You may use the drive-up book drop in the parking lot through the end of the year. After that, please return materials to another EVPL location until the temporary library location opens.

Located on Evansville’s west side, EVPL Red Bank opened in September of 1991. We can be found just off the Lloyd Expressway on Red Bank Road, making it the perfect spot to stop in and pick up a movie or book on your way home from running errands.
With renovations occurring in 2006, EVPL Red Bank is ready to meet your needs. Our private study rooms and large meeting space are perfect for you to complete that mid-term paper or have your next gathering. WiFi, public computer access, and more are always available for your use.
Sit by our fireplace while you peruse today’s paper, a magazine, or the newest best seller. Or, check out our Children’s Area with its beautiful stained glass window depicting Heidi from the children’s classic by Johanna Spyri.
Join us for coffee and cookies at our Coffee Talk book discussion, or bring your children to one of our widely popular Minecraft programs.
