The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library Foundation

A strong public library system is the very foundation upon which a community can build for the future. It supports all other forms of activity, from the arts to a thriving community, from education to public affairs, from science to cultural engagement.
As the population and needs of the community grow and change, the demand for more books, materials, services and programs grows. In 2007, the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library responded to 285,246 reference questions. Patrons logged 658,471 hours on library computers, and there were 199,768 database searches.
You can help the library provide more services by making a gift to the Foundation.
