‘Young at Art’ Exhibit at EVPL Central READ Center

Evansville, IN – Young artists in grades K-8 have submitted more than 100 pieces of art that are now on display as part of the Young at Art exhibit in EVPL Central’s READ Center through Friday, April 4.

The Young at Art exhibit, part of The Arts at EVPL series, allows regional young artists to display artwork in a professional setting, and in some cases, sell their work. Students from multiple elementary and middle schools in four counties, as well as homeschool students, have submitted both 2D and 3D works that are included in the exhibit.

The Arts at EVPL supports and encourages art experiences in four areas: Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Performing Arts, and Culinary Arts. This initiative, funded by the EVPL Foundation, reflects EVPL’s commitment to cultivating curiosity by creating wonder and demonstrates how the arts enrich our lives. Through The Arts at EVPL series, we bring together artists, performers, authors, and chefs to inspire, share dialogue, and create with you at the library.
