EVPL Foundation Summer Book Sale to be held August 1-2

Evansville/Vanderburgh County– The EVPL Foundation will host their annual Summer Book Sale at Washington Square on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2.

Hours of the sale are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

“Every year, book lovers and educators mark their calendars to be sure to attend the sale the first Saturday and Sunday in August” said Eric Weyer, President, EVPL Foundation Board.

Thousands of items, including books, movies, audiobooks, and CDs, will be available for purchase, mostly ranging between $0.50 and $2; some specialty items will be more than $2. Cash and checks are accepted, and a credit card payment option will be available with a minimum purchase of $10.

All proceeds from the sale support important EVPL initiatives funded by the Foundation, such as the Arts at EVPL, the new Oral History Archives, SPEAK, and many other special programs and projects.

The Fall Mini Book Sale will be at EVPL Central on November 14 and 15.
