Evansville – EVPL Central will host two Arts at EVPL events this Saturday evening, August 1.
The closing reception for What Should Be Remembered?, an art exhibit featuring 25 unique works, will be held from 4 – 5:30 pm in the rotunda on the second floor. Awards will also be presented, as judged by Sarah Wolfe. She is also a contributing writer to the local magazine, “Life On the Wabash,” serves on her local Historic Review Board, and advises the First City Public Sculpture Committee.
Shortly after the reception, a Concert on the Lawn event featuring Elliott and Loralye will be held on the EVPL Central Greenspace from 6 – 8 pm (weather permitting). Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for an evening of free live music; Tulum’s food truck will also be on site for purchases.
The Arts at EVPL Series is sponsored by the EVPL Foundation. The Concerts on the Lawn events at EVPL Central on August 1 and 15 and September 19 are sponsored by the Koch Foundation.
