In 2024, make time to read, to discover, and to play — whatever that means to you.

How many books can Evansville and Vanderburgh County read in a year?

EVPL wants to find out! By participating in EVPL’s Annual Reading Challenge, you’ll be part of a larger community of readers who are getting lost in a great book, learning something new, or doing things just for the fun of it.

How it works

With chances to win prizes each month, participants are encouraged to participate every month they can.

  • Read and track how many titles you read throughout that month on your tracker, which you can get at any EVPL location
  • By the end of the month, drop off the bottom slip of your tracker to any EVPL location
  • If you finish one tracker, you can pick up another one

Every EVPL location will have a monthly drawing for each age group! You can also enter a tracker at multiple locations.

Books can be from any collection and can be audio or digital format. It all counts! Make sure you fill out your name, contact information, and how many books you read that month on the entry slip. Winners will be notified every month.
