EVPL is excited to introduce KidQuests, a new publication for children ages 3–8. Each issue is packed with fun, hands-on activities that help build the skills children need to succeed in elementary school.
Our first issue focuses on School Readiness, with activities designed to fill in the learning gap during summer break. Families can enjoy a variety of activities together, including word searches, simple recipes, writing prompts, puzzles, and more.
This project was brought to you by the School Readiness committee, a group of youth service staff members at EVPL whose goal is to create content that combines library services with early literacy tools that will help prepare children for elementary school. A few notable previous projects include Preschool Practice, Ready for Kindergarten, and Ready for 3rd Grade.
