Youth art exhibit for K-8 students

Thank you to the talented local young artists who participated in Young at Art. You can see their work in EVPL Central READ Center through Saturday, April 4.

Young at Art allows local young artists in grades K-8 to display artwork in a professional gallery setting. Open to all students in grades Kindergarten – 8 in any school district. Homeschoolers are welcome!

Each artist (grades K-8) is allowed one 2D piece or one 3D piece. Teachers can submit up to ten 2D pieces and/or ten 3D pieces per school.

• Artwork Drop Off: Mar. 16 – 18 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | EVPL Central
• Artist’s Reception: Friday, Mar. 20 | 4:00 – 5:30 pm | EVPL Central READ Center River Room
• Exhibit: Mar. 21 – Apr. 4 | EVPL Central READ Center
• Artwork Pickup: Apr. 6 & 7 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | EVPL Central READ Center

How to participate

Fill out the registration form and turn it in with your artwork during the drop-off days and times at EVPL Central (200 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.). Make sure the artwork is labeled on the front of the piece with the artist’s name, grade, and school (and title, media, and price if so desired).
