What is an eAccess EVPL card?

eAccess EVPL Cards provide access to EVPL’s public computers, online databases, and digital collections.

Who is eligible for an eAccess EVPL card?

eAccess cards are available to the following:

  • Student eAccess – Students enrolled in pre-K–12 schools in Vanderburgh County in which the school has chosen to enter into a partnership with EVPL.
  • Business eAccess – Persons living outside Vanderburgh County who are employed in businesses located in Vanderburgh County – may have access to databases and public computers only.
  • General eAccess – Persons who cannot provide verification of permanent or temporary residency.

How do I get an eAccess EVPL card?

Students seeking an eAccess card must be enrolled at one of the participating schools. If enrolled, students will receive their cards through the school. Individuals who are seeking other forms of an eAccess card can visit any of EVPL’s eight locations.

How do I access EVPL’s digital resources with my card?

To borrow digital materials, visit our Read, Watch, and Listen pages. If you would like to explore our databases, visit our Research page. When you access some resources outside of an EVPL location, you may be asked to provide your eAccess card number and PIN.

I would like to borrow physical library materials. How can I do this?

Borrowing physical library materials can be done with a Standard EVPL Card or one of our other cards types. For more information about EVPL cards, see our Library Cards page.

If you are in need of assistance or have any questions, please see our EVPL eAccess Cards FAQs, send us a message, give us a call, or visit one of our locations.
