EVPL is excited to provide Pastimes, a publication designed to enrich the lives of our older community members through engaging learning experiences. First created in 2024 by a team at EVPL, Pastimes is more than just a collection of activities; it’s a tool for connection, creativity, and cognitive stimulation.

The newest edition, released in February 2026, has a food theme, playing off the smells and tastes of beloved dishes.

Pastimes is an activity book filled with a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities tailored for older individuals, but can be enjoyed by all age groups. From puzzles and word games to art projects and memory exercises, this book is designed to cater to diverse interests and abilities. Whether you’re looking to engage your mind, spark your creativity, or simply have some fun, Pastimes has something for everyone, plus information you can use to get connected with helpful programs and groups in the community.

All editions of Pastimes are timeless and undated, meaning they can be enjoyed at any time.

We have printed copies of the current Pastimes available at all EVPL locations, as well as digital copies of current and past editions that can be printed below.
